After having no game game on Sunday and Hart Common pitches being off midweek, we switched to Bleak Hill last night. Well what a start to the season!!! After a nightmare journey to St Helens which took us about 45 minutes we got there 10 MIns before kick off with a howling gale and sweeping rain we knew the season had started again!!!. We then dominated the game with the wind behind us and proceeded to miss every chance we got in front of goal,which was a lot!! 0-0 at half time. Second half we still had the better of the game but still couldn't find the net,until thankfully with 5 minutes to go Will put the ball into the net and we went away with a 1-0 win. Nightmare traffic,horrendous weather and scraping a 1-0 win, piss wet through on the way home I sort of remembered why we all love football so much!!!!!
